The first picture, and the title of this post, reminded me of a quote from The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath.
“I felt very still and empty, the way the eye of a tornado must feel, moving dully along in the middle of the surrounding hullabaloo.”
While I am never still or empty, and feel like I am constantly moving a hundred miles a minute, it was incredibly difficult to sit still with the crazy wind.
The bell sleeve is a fun update to a solid for spring. I personally like mine layered under a tank or jumpsuit, because it adds an interesting dimension to a simple silhouette. Since light tops are always appropriate for the season, I rounded up some great white belle sleeve blouses for all price points.
Take a look!
