Baby Got Back: Conti Wedding Part I

Always a sucker for sentimentality, I decided to design and make our gowns for our cousin's recent wedding in Ojai, CA. I definitely bit off more than I could chew, but finished them just in time! The back is an incredibly sexy and underrated part of a woman's body, so both dresses were (tastefully) backless*. Since the dresses themselves were designed very differently, I wanted to make sure they were the same color. The key to selecting a style that is on trend but not off-putting, is to balance what area of the body is being featured against what is being covered up. 1. Tori Praver Swimwear Krishna Swimsuit- The scoop in the back doesn't go lower than the hips, and the straps are secure enough that you're not left wondering how everything stays in place (the front is a tasteful v-neck). 2. Michael...
