Live-in Linen

A version of this linen outfit was my lazy/casual 4th of July cover up, and never did I think I'd make a look out of it. I've had these pieces forever and my mother and aunt had them forever before me, but they've always seemed more lounge-y and "off-duty" to me. I was reminded just how perfect they are for summer when it exceeded 90 degrees and there was NOTHING else I wanted to wear. Unfortunately, the hat and linens are hand me downs, but I scoured the internet for similar pieces. See below! Hat (Vintage)- Similar here / Sunglasses- Crap Eyewear / Top (Vintage)- Similar here, here and here / Pants (Old)- Similar here / Shoes- Marc Fisher...

Black + White

If you're looking for an update to your favorite basic, this Aritzia top is it. I'm still undecided about the corset layering trend, but I love the way this tube top (also very cute alone) looks over our go-to reformation tee. Its simple and flattering and the perfect piece to pair with black joggers and reflective sunnies. Would you layer like this? Leave your comments below! Tee- Reformation / Sunnies- Michael Kors / Pants- Aritzia / Top- Aritzia / Shoes- Marc Fisher   ...

Last Minute Look // 4th of July

As symbolic as the American flag is, stylish it is not. Each year, the 4th of July brings out some of the worst flag inspired outfits ever, and this faux pas is so very avoidable. It IS possible to rep the red, white and blue, without looking kitschy. Below is a last minute look for any backyard bbq this weekend, and some easy no-fail rules to follow. In my opinion, white is the hardest color to wear since: a) it is expansive b) doesn't photograph well in bright sunlight. A headband, bandana or sunnies are perfect ways to get white in. Since denim screams americana, it is the perfect blue piece and likely already in your closet. Even though red doesn't look great on every skin tone, combining it with white and blue usually...

#WCW w/ Kalypto

Here at Twinseperable HQ, we are always looking for ways to give back. We are also no strangers to female strength and that is one of the reasons we cannot wait for the rest of the world to get to know Kalypto as we have. For today's WCW we sit down with co-creators and do-gooders; our soul-sisters, Ali and Sam Darrow. Gorgeous, on the inside and out, read below to get to know these women-bosses. What is Kalypto? Kalypto is a socially conscious and uniquely crafted underwear brand, built for women who want to make a positive impact and look good while doing so. For every pair of underwear purchased, a portion of the profit goes toward supporting women...

Baby Blues

Dress- Harshmans / Sweater (old)- Similar here / Sunnies- Karen Walker / Nail Polish- Essie (Bikini So Teeny) / Shoes- Stuart Weitzman   If millennial pink is a thing, I dub this millennial blue. It's no coincidence that both shades experienced a tandem rise to popularity, as they (or similar tones) were the colors of the year for 2016. I'm not one for monotone outfits, but as I started building the look, I realized just how many baby blues I had. If calm were a color, this would be it. Keep scrolling for my picks and let me know your thoughts on the shade!   1. Reformation / 2. Stuart Weitzman  / 3. Paula Cadermartori / 4. Shinola / 5. Furla...

Adidas X Parley X Stella McCartney

The name Parley is not new to us, but if you've never heard of it, you should definitely keep reading. Parley for the Oceans is an environmental organization that raises awareness about the challenges facing oceans today. Adidas has had a partnership with Parley for about two years now and since have taken huge steps in protecting our oceans. They no longer use plastic shopping bags in their stores, and promote cleanup efforts and ocean conservation education among their employees. In early May, Adidas released the first running shoe in their collaboration with Parley. The shoe's upper is made entirely with yarn spun from recycled ocean plastic. Last year alone, Parley pulled 740 tons pollution from the ocean and Adidas is...

Tunesdays with Benjamin Booker

Released June 2, Benjamin Booker’s second album, Witness, packs a major punch. Embracing the idea that the personal is political, he doesn’t waste any time before analyzing his part as a citizen in the current social climate. The title track is “not a praise song; it’s a piano-pounding hymn for Black Lives Matter that has Mr. Booker singing, with furious mockery, ‘See we thought that we saw that he had a gun/Thought that it looked like he started to run.’”  NYT It is extremely evident that Booker has been influenced by punk, rock and blues. The first album he said to have purchased, at around 13, was Elephant by The White Stripes. Their unique use of instruments and non-traditional sounds- reminiscent...

Watch Out with JORD

Moments are bigger than minutes

Jord watches are 30% off for a limited time for Amazon Prime Day!* If that doesn't immediately pique your interest in this watch brand, then keep reading. Neither of us particularly love statement jewelry, and have always preferred simple and timeless pieces we can wear every day. Watches are no different. We were recently introduced to JORD watches (pronounced like yode), and can't get over how beautiful they are. They're unique without being flashy and neutral so they can match almost everything. Since the bands are hand carved wood, no two are alike, and there are so many styles to choose from. Picking just one was incredibly difficult as they are all so gorgeous, and the contrast between...
