There are so many things about this look that I love. First of all, the skirt and tee are both Reformation, which we try and buy whenever we have spare shekels. As our favorite sustainable and socially conscious brand, we do our best to splurge on a few new special pieces whenever possible. Fortunately, their tees are actually incredibly affordable and this skirt was on sale! Second, the skirt print is perfect to dress up or down and we’ve done both!
Following the theme of sustainability, we’ve been on the hunt for a perfect oversized (pre-loved) denim jacket since I borrowed one from a friend last year. I have been scouring thrift stores and vintage stores for the same fit since! HM and Zara actually released some unisex denim that was pretty close but with how bad denim production is for the environment, (specifically fast-fashion denim), and the amount of great denim already in existence, I knew it was only a matter of time before I found the perfect hand-me-down. Finally, we struck gold in San Francisco and have worn it almost every day since.
