It’s safe to say pastels are about as groundbreaking for spring as florals are. Nonetheless, they are tried and true colors for the season and while I like innovative fashion and ideas, I also believe if it aint broke, don’t fix it. Pantone’s release of two pastel shades as their 2016 colors of the year further proves that they will be appropriate year round…at least for 2016, that is. Unfortunately, many of these items are no longer available as they are either from past seasons, vintage, or hand-me-downs. The blazer pictured here is vintage Escada and one of my favorite layering pieces at the moment. The ribbed tee was my grandmother’s, and the exact jeans and shoes are no longer in stores. However, click the links below for similar pieces to achieve the same look.
P.S. Don’t the bag and wall match perfectly?!
