Spring Layers

We've lived in Hell's Kitchen for about two years now and are always pleasantly surprised when we stumble on a new gem. Without a route in mind, we set out to photograph this look, and walked right by (and eventually in) a gorgeous community garden. It was incredibly peaceful and reminded us of our mom's garden back home. We can't wait for the weather to warm up for good, and for the buds to bloom so we can spend more time in this escape from the concrete jungle. Sunnies- Karen Walker / Bag- Rebecca Minkoff / Dress (sample sale)- Reformation (Similar here) / Vest (Old)- Loft (Love this one here) / Boots- Stuart Weitzman  ...

Stripes // Bright Pop of Color

stripes-color-3
This sweater is one of the brighter things I've purchased, but I had a lot of fun styling it! Hat / Coat / Sweater (Not avail.)- Similar here / Tunic (Old Zara)- Similar here / Skirt (Vintage)- Similar here / Boots / Bag / Stickers...

That is, however, until I tried this specific one. Different aspects of the garment can definitely help or hurt the entire look. For example, if the cold shoulder is too open or too closed. Even the neckline makes a difference. I much prefer this style with a built up neck. Basically, whether this trend works,...

Winter Essentials

The Twinseperable team recently went for a ski weekend with friends. Having grown up on the beach, neither of us are very experienced in winter sports. While the rest of the group was skiing, we took advantage of the calm environment and gorgeous surroundings to breathe in some inspiration and get a little work done. We were given strict instructions to pack light, and so I brought only what I thought were my winter weekend essentials (and maybe a few other things). Coat (Old)- DKNY (Similar here) / Beanie- UNIQLO / Top- Reformation / Jeans- Levi's / Boots*- Uggs *Read about how much I love these here....
