Live-in Linen

Live_in_linen
A version of this linen outfit was my lazy/casual 4th of July cover up, and never did I think I'd make a look out of it. I've had these pieces forever and my mother and aunt had them forever before me, but they've always seemed more lounge-y and "off-duty" to me. I was reminded just how perfect they are for summer when it exceeded 90 degrees and there was NOTHING else I wanted to wear. Unfortunately, the hat and linens are hand me downs, but I scoured the internet for similar pieces. See below! Winter Essentials

The Twinseperable team recently went for a ski weekend with friends. Having grown up on the beach, neither of us are very experienced in winter sports. While the rest of the group was skiing, we took advantage of the calm environment and gorgeous surroundings to breathe in some inspiration and get a little work done. We were given strict instructions to pack light, and so I brought only what I thought were my winter weekend essentials (and maybe a few other things). Coat (Old)- DKNY (Similar here) / Beanie- UNIQLO / Top- Reformation / Jeans- Levi's / Boots*- Uggs *Read about how much I love these here....

Baby Got Back: Conti Wedding Part I

Always a sucker for sentimentality, I decided to design and make our gowns for our cousin's recent wedding in Ojai, CA. I definitely bit off more than I could chew, but finished them just in time! The back is an incredibly sexy and underrated part of a woman's body, so both dresses were (tastefully) backless*. Since the dresses themselves were designed very differently, I wanted to make sure they were the same color. I do tend to brighten up my wardrobe during the warmer seasons, but I will NEVER swear off darks completely. Loving navy for spring and summer, especially for an outdoor venue, I decided to make the gowns solid navy with different embellishments and details. Gaby's gown (right) was inspired by the Miu Miu dress Sienna Miller wore at the Golden Globes,...
