Babes Unite

          With the escalating political and cultural tension in this country, there is no shortage of amazing graphic tees. However, I think it is safe to say Denim brand AMO made my favorite one so far! There are so many things I love about this BABES UNITE shirt- It's 100% cotton, made in LA, distressed, relaxed, AND comfy as hell. P.S. 20%  of the proceeds are donated to planned parenthood.* Personally, catcalls make me feel incredibly self conscious, and my initial reaction is to slouch and walk quickly away. As someone who resents the term babe, and the numerous catcalls it usually accompanies, this shirt is my exception. In the same way Reformation's "not your baby" silk track jacket was empowering, the phrase takes back ownership...

Statement Tees

From many designers refusing to dress the first lady, to creating charitable tees and even having some walk down major runways (Dior and Prabal to name a few), the statements are loud and clear. When tensions are high, and so many are looking to express themselves through their sartorial selections, it seems almost sneaky to capitalize on an issue and not donate any of the proceeds to that cause, something I made sure to look into. Text Me ;-)

Fashion fans will all agree that Reformation can spin anything into gold. Not kidding. If trends were currency, whatever they touch would equate to bars of pure gold. Exhibit A, B, and C: the front tie dress, the lace up bodysuit, and now, the text tee. A lot of their styles are frequently sold out, and recognizably emulated by countless other retailers. Particularly in the Spring and Summer (although every season is great), they are the most photographed brand on celebrities and style stars everywhere. A quick scroll of their insta will prove it.
