Much like most areas of the arts, the fashion industry is known to reflect major cultural issues and events. This year has been no exception. From many designers refusing to dress the first lady, to creating charitable tees and even having some walk down major runways (Dior and Prabal to name a few), the statements are loud and clear.
When tensions are high, and so many are looking to express themselves through their sartorial selections, it seems almost sneaky to capitalize on an issue and not donate any of the proceeds to that cause, something I made sure to look into.
