Tunesday in LA LA LAND

In 1975 “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” set the new Golden Globe record with six awards; A record matched in 1978 by “Midnight Express.”

A new masterpiece, has raised the Golden Globe bar with seven awards.

Enter, La La Land.

Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling won for Best Actor and Best Actress (respectively) in a Comedy or Musical. Damien Chazelle won for directing and screenplay, and Justin Hurwitz won for original score. Benj Pasek and Justin Paul’s “City of Stars,” won them the award for best song.  And the Pièce De Résistance…Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.

Today’s Tunesday is in celebration of their amazing feat.

Have you seen it yet? What do you think?
