This is one of my favorite looks of all time because it happens to be more than half vintage! Like we said in our last post, we’re trying to extend the life cycles of our garments and invest in pieces that are longer lasting.
The skirt was an AMAZING find from Wallflower Boutique during our recent-ish trip to San Francisco. If you’re looking for a great vintage experience, definitely make The Mission district a priority. Also, the bucket bag and three-tone (brass, silver, gold) belt belonged to our Momager! I found similar pre-owned versions of this suede midi here and here, and similar boots here!
After brunching in Brooklyn (in this “recycled” getup), Gaby and I stumbled into the Package Free Shop and were completely inspired. Our desire to recycle and invest in items with longevity was even further solidified when we met the Co-founders (Daniel Silverstein and Lauren Singer) who manage to live and design (in 2017) with little, to no waste!*
Stay tuned for a follow up post about the shop and easy things you can do to decrease your carbon footprint!
*This is not an exaggeration. The waste Lauren has amassed over five years fits in a 16oz mason jar, and Daniel designs waste free clothes.
